Pride and Prejudice
Plot Outline: The story is based on Jane Austen’s novel about five sisters – Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty and Lydia Bennet – in Georgian England. Their lives are turned upside down when a wealthy young man (Mr. Bingley) and his best friend (Mr. Darcy) arrive in their neighborhood.
Personal Comments:
I’ve went to the cinema thursday night, 26 January, with my brother and girlfriend and we were wanting to see something nice that night… maybe a comedy we though. Well, nothing suited our tastes when we got to the ticketline so I looked to the movie poster and though “Well, this might be nice…” and there we went. I was full of expectations. Initially I got a little bit disappointed but that changed really fast when the plot started to get interesting. It’s a movie full of energy, romance, and a lot of little jokes around the corner. I do recommend it. It’s a different movie but a good one anyway. Matthew Macfadyen that played as Mr. Darcy was surely my favorite actor. Very fast with its words and with a lot of wisdom. Doesn’t talk much but when it does so, he’s wise. Check it out!

King Kong

Personal Comments
This comment is quite late since I’ve been to the cinema more than two weeks ago on the 9th of the current month. Still, it’s not a ‘new’ movie. For those who have seen the previous version there are not (for obvious reasons) many changes to the storyline and the special effects are nice but nothing spectacular except the fight between Kong and the T-Rex’es. In my opinion you should see this movie if you have nothing else you really like, else wait it gets to DVD and rent it then. Briefly, It’s just another King Kong…

Only now was I able to watch all the extras on the extended version of the DVDs.
Even though the movies per se are awesome and incredibly well directed, the extras show up stuff you’d never be able to know if you didn’t see the extras. It is a must!
No, I’ve never read the books and that will be the next step since it seems I’ve missed a lot judging by what some people say when discussing books/movies.
Now, I’m searching for a high-quality publication of the “Lord of The Rings” and possibly the “Hobbit” (which I still hope a movie will be made). These should be in English, I’m not much of an adept of translations. So, if anyone has any suggestions I will be quite pleased to hear about them or just post a link to its amazon.co.uk page. Thanks in advance.
